The SatGear MM4 is a complete mounting and protection system designed to securely install your Starlink Mini on roof rack cross bars or smooth surfaces using suction cups. The MM4 combines the fully enclosed protection of the SatGear MM1 Protective Mount with the SatGear MM4 roof rack mounting brackets, creating a versatile solution for both permanent and temporary vehicle installations.
This system provides maximum protection, secure mounting, and a low-profile aerodynamic design ideal for vehicle-based Starlink Mini use.
Fully Enclosed Starlink Mini Protection
At the core of the MM4 is the SatGear MM1 Protective Mount, constructed from high-strength aluminum and featuring a durable signal-transparent polycarbonate top cover. The Starlink Mini sits fully enclosed inside the aluminum housing, while the polycarbonate top layer protects the exposed surface of the dish from above.
This polycarbonate cover functions similarly to a screen protector on a smartphone. Just as a phone case protects the body of the phone and a screen protector shields the display, the aluminum enclosure protects the structure of your Starlink Mini while the polycarbonate top cover protects the dish surface from scratches, debris, and impact from above.
Importantly, the polycarbonate material does not interfere with the Starlink signal in any way. Satellite signals pass directly through the cover with no loss in performance, ensuring full connectivity while providing an additional layer of protection.
Roof Rack Cross Bar Mounting
The included MM4 mounting brackets allow secure installation directly onto roof rack cross bars up to 3 inches wide, including aero-style cross bars commonly found on trucks, SUVs, vans, and overland vehicles. This provides a stable and reliable mounting solution ideal for permanent vehicle installations.
Suction Cup Mounting Options
Supports four 3-inch suction cups designed for strong, reliable attachment to smooth surfaces such as glass, metal, or painted panels. Also performs well on many lightly textured, non-painted surfaces such as Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator roofs, as well as Ford Bronco hardtops.
Manual Suction Cups
Each suction cup features a manual pump system that creates a strong vacuum seal. Once installed, the suction typically holds for up to approximately 1-2 weeks before needing to be re-pumped to maintain optimal performance.
Electronic Suction Cup Option (Optional)
Automatically monitor suction pressure and re-pump themselves whenever vacuum drops below 80%, eliminating the need for manual maintenance. This makes them ideal for users who frequently travel between high and low elevations, where pressure changes can cause standard suction cups to lose hold. Rechargeable via standard USB, they operate for approximately 2–3 weeks per charge and are water-resistant for reliable outdoor use.
Integrated Air Diffuser for Reduced Wind Noise

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
We do everything we can to fulfill orders quickly and unfortunately cannot make updates after an order has been placed. These changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address. If a mistake has been made with your order information, it’s quickest to create a new order with the correct information and then let our Customer Service.
Do you offer e-gift cards for international customers?

How Do I Set Up A Subscription Order?
We will deliver products to you as soon as reasonably possible. Orders are usually dispatched between 1-3 days from the date of the order being placed. Please contact us our customer service team if your delivery has not been received within the dates described.
How To Return My Items?
We do not currently offer free returns to overseas customers. You will therefore need to cover all costs of returning any items to us yourself. We advise that you mark your package ‘returned goods’ to avoid further duties.
