The SatGear GM5 is a complete protective flat mounting solution designed to securely install your Starlink Gen 3 dish on flat surfaces such as vehicle roofs, RV roofs, roof racks, camper shells, trailers, and equipment enclosures. The GM5 combines the fully enclosed protection of the SatGear GM1 Protective Mount with flat mount L-brackets, creating a secure, low-profile mounting system ideal for permanent installations.
This system provides maximum protection, mounting stability, and a clean, low-profile design optimized for mobile and fixed applications.
Fully Enclosed Starlink Gen 3 Protection
At the core of the GM5 is the SatGear GM1 Protective Mount, constructed from high-strength aluminum and featuring a durable signal-transparent polycarbonate top cover. The Starlink Gen 3 dish is fully enclosed within the aluminum housing, while the polycarbonate top layer protects the exposed surface of the dish from above.
This polycarbonate cover functions similarly to a screen protector on a smartphone. Just as a phone case protects the body of the device and a screen protector shields the display, the aluminum enclosure protects the structure of your Starlink Gen 3 while the polycarbonate top cover protects the dish surface from scratches, debris, and impact.
The polycarbonate material is completely signal-transparent and does not interfere with satellite connectivity, ensuring full Starlink performance while providing an additional layer of protection.
Designed for Flat Surface Mounting
The included flat mount L-brackets attach securely to the sides of the GM1 Protective Mount and allow the system to be mounted directly onto flat surfaces using screws or bolts. This creates a strong, stable installation ideal for permanent mounting on RV roofs, truck camper shells, trailers, service bodies, roof racks, and other flat mounting locations.

Can I purchase items with another currency?
Yes, you may select a currency based on your personal preference. When you select your country in the country selector on the upper right of the website or are taken directly to your country’s version of the website, you will see prices listed in the regional currency.
Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
We do everything we can to fulfill orders quickly and unfortunately cannot make updates after an order has been placed. These changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address. If a mistake has been made with your order information, it’s quickest to create a new order with the correct information and then let our Customer Service.
Do you offer e-gift cards for international customers?
E-gift cards are only available to customers shipping within the U.S.
How Do I Set Up A Subscription Order?
We will deliver products to you as soon as reasonably possible. Orders are usually dispatched between 1-3 days from the date of the order being placed. Please contact us our customer service team if your delivery has not been received within the dates described.
How To Return My Items?
We do not currently offer free returns to overseas customers. You will therefore need to cover all costs of returning any items to us yourself. We advise that you mark your package ‘returned goods’ to avoid further duties. Remember: We strongly recommend that you return any items via a registered trackable service and obtain and retain proof of posting as we do not accept responsibility for items that fail to arrive with us.
